Jason and his wife of 30+ years, Terri, raised their 2 adult children on a secure foundation of faith. The Rockwells have served The Sycamore Church as small group leaders for more than 20 years. Through the church, the Rockwells founded Sycamore at the Stadium in 2003. Hundreds of kids between the ages of 8-12 have experienced the love of Jesus while learning baseball skills in their ministry that happens every November, rain or shine. Rockwell, a former collegiate pitcher, has a heart for baseball ministry evidenced by his 9 years as Chaplain of the Savannah Sand Gnats. His community outreach through baseball took him on a mission trip to Cuba and fueled him to help start 2 homeschool high baseball teams, one of which he continues to help coach today.
